It’s not just dominating headlines — it’s even caught the eye of the **Trump Administration**, with recent annoucements to **expand federal grazing lands** and **increase beef imports from Argentina**. As the chart above shows, **retail beef prices in August were 13.9% higher than in 2024**. To put that in perspective — and you know I love perspective — that’s the **highest monthly beef inflation outside of the COVID era**. Oh, and by the way — retail beef prices are now up a staggering **53% since the beginning of COVID**. Talk about a bull market (thank you very much).
