Feed prices are calm too. Corn and soybean planting is nearly wrapped up and ahead of schedule. We even got early corn crop ratings: 68% good-to-excellent (think LC Greenwood) this week, down from 75% last year's initial ratings (Mean Joe Greene vibes). We'd like to see these ratings climb solidly into the 70's in the coming weeks.
