Low feed prices = better protein supplies?

So the feed markets have generally fallen rather sharply as well during the last several months which is very good news for the commodity complex. We discussed this partially in last week's article regarding chicken producers and how their spot margins have improved substantially as of late. Although feed prices have found some modest support in recent trades, costs for protein and dairy producers are tracking at more than three (think: Russell Wilson....Here we go Pittsburgh Steelers, Here we go!) year lows. And this should only encourage protein expansion during the next several months assuming the pending domestic crops cooperate.
