Speaking of tight, labor in the foodservice supply chain certainly has been so during the last few years which has partly driven higher costs within the chain. Warehousing certainly hasn't been immune to this. Note in the chart below that refrigerated warehousing wholesale costs rose more last year than in 2022 and at their third highest level on record. This will continue to impact food product costs in the supply chain in the coming months.
