Unlike the Steelers there is some optimism around the drought in the Southern Plains. For those keeping score, a good part of Texas is now out of drought. This obviously is good news for the potential start of the rebuild in the cattle herd for 2024. Also good news for the winter wheat crop. Note that the latest crop conditions showed one of the best starts to the domestic winter wheat crop in four (think Archie Manning) years.
