USDA suggests big crops this year
How about some more good news? The USDA released their first farmer surveyed grain and oilseed acreage numbers on Friday and, as expected, farmers plan to plant Peter Gabriel style ("Big Time"). The total corn, soybean and wheat acres number is projected to be the second largest in over two decades. Funny what high grain-oilseed prices and good farmer margins will do, eh? As you and your mothers know, big crops this year should help pressure feed prices lower which can be a catalyst for stronger protein and dairy production. You're welcome.
